TELONE™ II soil fumigant is a pre-plant soil fumigant for control of all major species of nematodes, including root-knot, lesion, stubby-root, dagger, ring and cyst. TELONE™ II is injected into the soil as a liquid and immediately converted to a gas, creating a zone of protection around developing roots. As a fumigant, TELONE™ moves throughout the soil profile without requiring water or incorporation for movement.

Application flexibility
TELONE™ II soil fumigant can be applied broadcast, in-row and at bedding up. The application flexibility does not stop there as it can also be applied on bare ground or under tarp.

How & Why It Works
The quality and quantity of a crop depends, to a large extent, on what happens in the soil. The roots provide plants with nearly all of their nutrient and moisture requirements, yet are extremely susceptible to danger from soil pests, like nematodes, soil disease, and soil pests. Soil fumigation protects roots. TELONE™ II is a soil fumigant injected into the soil, then it quickly evaporates into a gas. The vapors move through the soil pores and eventually dissolve into soil water. The movement through the soil is fundamental and essential to the effectiveness of fumigation for pest control. TELONE™ II is a true soil fumigant, meaning it can move through the soil on its own, not requiring additional moisture, and therefore yields more consistent results as when compared to other nematicides. TELONE™ II provides outstanding pest control because it creates a large zone of protection around the root zone.
